CUSTOM WOOD SIGN ORDERING INFO
At Lake Effects by tell tale Signs we aim to please. If you have an idea for a custom made personalized routed wood sign, please email us or give us a call. We will be happy to work with you to create exactly what you need. We have several of our own graphics to choose from, or we can design something for you. Most of our predesigned graphics can be placed on any sign. Designs are routed directly into the wood sign, then details are hand painted in, for that personal touch.
Pricing is determined by the size of your sign (shape does not matter, size is determined by the smallest rectangle your sign will fit into), the type of wood desired (for outdoor signs we offer your choice of either knotty cedar or clear knot free cedar), and if you would like graphics on the sign.
All of the custom routed wood signs are made for outdoor display, and require little maintenance, just a little spray urethane every year or so.
We understand that there are a lot of choices to make in designing your sign. As a courtesy to our customers, after an order is placed, if it is requested by the customer, we will be happy to design your sign and email a photo of that design (this will be a black and white drawing "mock up" of the sign that will be cut and does not include details that will be painted in). This is done at no extra charge after the order is placed. If there are any changes in font, graphics, or anything else for that matter, we will be happy to make those changes, as many as you like, until you are happy. Once we receive the approval from you, we will cut your sign. This process normally takes around 2 weeks as long as there is good communication with you our customer. Depending on the season, it may be a little more or a little less.
